Staines Thameside Medical Practice will be closing on 31 August 2019
All our patients have been sent a letter to inform them that Staines Thameside Medical Practice will be closing on 31 August 2019.
This is due to personal circumstances of the doctors at Staines Thameside. All patients need to re-register with a different GP practice in the locality.
Drop-in sessions, at the surgery, where you can get information on other local GP practices are running on:
- 18 July 12pm – 2.30pm
- 25 July 2.30pm – 5pm
- 7 August 4.30pm – 7pm
You can register at a local practice near to where you reside, as indicated in the letter. Please feel free to do so.
Welcome to Staines Thameside Medical
We are a small friendly practice covering a patient population of approximately 4,500. The surgery was established 26 years ago. Our practice boundary is currently within a 3 mile radius of Staines Bridge.
We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

All patients have a named accountable GP – please ask at reception or contact the practice by telephone or email if you do not already know which GP has been allocated. This does not interfere with your right to see any doctor of your choice in the practice.
